About Shoshana Pearlman
Background: I earned a Masters Degree in Social Work in 2001 from the Wurzweiler school of Social Work at Yeshiva University in New York City. I have worked in a variety of clinical environments including community mental health, social service agencies, private practice, residential care and senior living communities.
Training: I have specialized training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I have completed trainings in Anxiety, Depression and Suicidality at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I trained and received certification in EMDR at the Trauma Institute & Child Trauma Institute (TICTI).
Certification: I am an EMDR-certified therapist and a certified clinical Social Work Supervisor with many years of experience supervising clinicians who are working towards advanced clinical licensure.
